A Scientific Visit to the Media Hall Involving the Interior Design Department Students

Third-stage Interior Design Department students had a scientific visit to the Media Hall on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. Under the supervision of Mrs. Mais Naseer in Interior Design IV- entertaining course, the students were received by Engineer Azad Kurdi, the manager of the hall. He shared valuable insights with the students about dealing with theater spaces and halls.

During the visit, the students took measurements of the theater and the surrounding spaces. They gained knowledge about the function of each space, the number of entrances and exits, lighting distribution, sound insulation, emergency entrances, and VIP entrances.

The experience proved beneficial for these students, positively enhancing their understanding of the course, design principles, spatial awareness, and their ability to produce the required results.
