Activities of the Department of Medical Laboratory Science on World Heart Day

The Department of Medical Laboratory Science at Cihan University-Erbil, in the presence of Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil, conducted scientific activities in conjunction with World Heart Day.

As a continuation of the activities of the Department of Medical Laboratory Science on 29 September 2022 (Thursday) and in order to raise health awareness, World Heart Day activities were held at Cihan University – Erbil in the presence of Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil. The activities were held under the supervision of Head of the Department of Laboratory Medical Science Assistant Lecturer Mr. Sarwan Wasman Hamad with the presence of teachers and students of the same department.

The activities conducted consisted of several free laboratory tests offered for the students as well as academic staff of the university, namely blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol (Blood fat) tests – triglycerides (subcutaneous fat), LDL, and HDL.
