Programmer day is an international is celebrated on the 256th day of the year by institutes, companies, and universities. On the 13th of September 2021 at the department of computer science of Cihan university-Erbil like in previous years, this day was celebrated by the participation of students and their professors and lecturers.
During this celebration head of the department, Mr. Mohammad Bajalan gave the students a short speech about the importance of programmers in the new era. Consequently, other professors gave the students some words about the importance of this field in Kurdistan and Iraq to make a new and modern country.
During this celebration, students asked their questions regarding job opportunities related to programming and whether which language programming is suitable for finding a job in the market. All students’ questions were answered by taking real examples of successful graduates in this field. Afterward, attendants were welcomed by tea and a special programmer’s day cake.
