Cihan University – Erbil Organizes a Training Course Named “IT for Academics” for Its Academic Staff

For the purpose of developing the skills and capabilities of teachers and staff in various departments, Cihan University – Erbil organizes a training course under the title “IT for Academics”.

With the participation of more than fifty staff members and employees, the training course, which lasts for 6 days, started on Sunday, 6/6/2021 in the VIP hall of Cihan University-Erbil.

(Assist. Lect. Mohammed Hussein Shukur), the head of the Computer Science Department, as well as (Assist. Lect. Abdullah Abdulabas Nahi), participate in the organizing of the training course. This training course covers general concepts of ICT and its techniques for using different applications.

This course contributes to develop the ICT skills of participants in their teaching journey. Additionally, participants are trained to choose the right journals and tools for doing their researches as well as analyze large amounts of data by using different tools. At the end of the course in (22/6/2021) participants will be able to use most of the trend applications that help their academic progress.

Annually at Cihan University – Erbil, several scientific courses are held for all academic staff and employees of departments in several fields, for the purpose of developing their skills and abilities using modern scientific methods and achieving success in the field of higher education.
