Department of Business Administration Prepared Ramadan Iftar Meals for the Nursery Home – Erbil
The presence of parents in the lives of their children, regardless of their age, is a blessing that cannot be felt unless its lost, as the elderly people plays a crucial role in raising generations and the nation.
This category is subjected to injustice and abandonment by their children who are sending them to the nursing homes throughout the country. On this basis and as a result of the previous visit to the nursery home in Erbil and the agreement with the administration to conduct a joint activity, the Department of Business Administration organized a visit on the 27th of Ramadan which was on 28 April 2022 to the Nursery Home-Erbil. The main objective of the visit was to prepare the Iftar meals for more than 100 residents.
The Iftar meals were preceded by many preparations by the lecturers and students. These included shopping for the Iftar meals and preparation of the Iftar meals at the site of the nursery home under the supervision of the Assistant Lecturer Ms. Bushra Ali together with Dr. Qusay Al-Salami, in addition to the active participation by the students activity committee. This was including the presence of the students; Hakar Muhammed Abdullatif, Yousif Naffi Ahmed and Shaswar Saleh Muhammed accompanied by other students who participated in the preparations of the Iftar meals.
The last part of the visit included making a tour around the place, during which the residents expressed their great joy about the visit. The lecturers and students expressed their happiness to be able to bring a smile to the face of the residents of the nursery home.
