A Certificate Presentation Event in the workshop of Improving Academic Skills of School Teachers by Cihan University_Erbil
Cihan University_ Erbil conducted a certificate presentation event for teachers who participated in the Improving Academic Skills of School Teachers Workshop. In the presence of Professor Dr. Amjad S. Al-Delawi, the president of Cihan University-Erbil, the certificates were awarded to the participants and certificates of appreciation were given to the organizers of the workshop. The workshop was set up to improve the quality of learning and to make use of teaching programs.
The event was held on Monday, February 1st, 2021 in the presence Professor Dr. Amjad S. Al-Delawi, the president of Cihan University-Erbil, Dr. Nawzad Yahya Bajger, chairman of the Board of Trustees of Cihan Universities, Mr. Ahmad Garmiani, Secretary of the Kurdistan Teachers Union, Mr. Abdul Wahid, the Deputy Secretary of the Kurdistan Teachers Union, some members of the secretariat, Mr. Dler Abdulla, the director of Secondary Schools in Erbil.
Some speeches were delivered and the importance of organizing such kinds of workshops and courses were discussed to support the ministry of education and continuing the learning process. Dr. Amjad S. Al-Delawi also pointed out the importance of such courses in order to prepare a new effective generation for the future of the society.
At the end of the ceremony, the participants of the workshop were awarded a certificate. At the same time, appreciation certificate was awarded to the organizers and instructors of the workshop.
The workshop on Improving the Academic Skills of School Teachers on how to learn and use educational programs began on Saturday, January 31st, 2021 and lasted for three days at the university. 27 high school teachers of Erbil and suburbs participated in the workshop.
The lecturers of the Computer Department taught the material to the teachers in a practical way. Specific programs like Moodle, Zoom and Class Dojo which have great importance in the learning process were instructed.
