Harnessing English Language Skills through the English Language Training Course
The English Language Centre, headed by Director Mr. Polla Tahseen Mohammad, offers its 60-hour English Language Training Course open to both Cihan University – Erbil students and the public. This ongoing 5-week course, which begins on July 26th, 2023, is designed for students wishing to enhance their English language skills and boost their confidence. Prior to attending this course, students must take a placement test.
This course is comprehensive, focusing on key areas such as speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar. Students are provided numerous opportunities to practice and develop their English language skills through task-based activities, both inside and outside the classroom on campus. These activities encompass debates, conversations, oral presentations, discussions, listening to various sources, as well as reading and writing exercises.
Students benefit from materials and personalized instruction delivered throughout this course by Ms. Zeena and Ms. Marwa. After completing this course, students will receive a certificate of course completion from Cihan University – Erbil.
