In Cihan Academy Hall on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, the Media Department hosted a lecture for one of the Department of Media students. Teachers and departmental students attended. Karwan Masoud Ali, a third-stage student, presented a session on (Comparison between traditional and new media).

At a recent beginning, the student defined new media and described modern media trends, highlighting the most significant benefits and drawbacks of traditional media in addition to the advantages and disadvantages of new media.

Later, the student discussed in his speech the future of traditional media and whether or not modern societies have any impact on it. He emphasized that the media, in all of its recent and contemporary forms, has a significant influence on the human mind, making interest in the media one of the most valuable modern trends in many countries that place a high value on the media.

Due to his expertise and more than 20 years of experience working in the media industry, Karwan was able to respond to the students’ numerous questions and inquiries both professionally and academically after the seminar. Additionally, some students contributed their interventions and viewpoints, which greatly increased the knowledge and significance of the topic.
