Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Dalawi talks about the importance of the European Conference on Quality Assurance and credibility
Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Dalawi, president of Cihan University Erbil, spoke during a press interview about the influence of holding and participating in world universities in the European Conference on Quality Assurance and credibility.
In an interview with Kurdistan Channel 24, the president of Cihan University Erbil said: Holding a European scale scientific conference on quality assurance and trust is very important in two ways, the first is to hold this conference is an opportunity for us to be able to introduce our universities to countries, to clarify the level and system of education in our universities, and according to what standards we work.
The second importance is that we can benefit from the universities, scientific institutions, and researchers who are participating in the conference.
Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Dalawi explained that it was crucial for Cihan University-Erbil to participate in such conferences because we, as Cihan University Erbil, are working to internationalize our university. We have taken good steps to do so. For instance, our university has achieved the trust of international institutions separately for 12 scientific departments. Today, our goal at this conference is to find out what the European criterion for reliability is.
Because of a group of German universities, Europe participating, apart from a group of Arab universities, this is an opportunity to exchange science and knowledge, especially by quality assurance and credibility.
At the end of his interview, the president of Cihan University Erbil said: “This conference has been an opportunity to connect with a group of universities and scientific institutions so that we can implement new European standards in the field at our universities in the coming years.”
On July 7 and 8, 2022, the European Conference on Quality Assurance and Confidence in Germany was held with the participation of a group of universities, a delegation of Cihan universities, consisting of Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Dalawi, president of Cihan University Erbil, Assistant Professor Dr. Omid Rafiq Fatah, President of Cihan University Sulaimaniya, Assistant Professor Dr. Zervan Abdul Muhsin Asaad, President of Cihan University Duhok, and Dr. Dler Hussein Qadir, Director of Quality Assurance at Cihan University Erbil, as the only active private university.
