Scientific trip of Students of the Medical Laboratory Science department to a Histology laboratory

During the activities of the Department of Medical Laboratory Science, on Wednesday, 25/10/2023 the third-year students conducted a scientific trip to the |(Path Lab) which is specific to histological diseases.

 The visit was under the supervision of Mr. Mohammed Omar for (Histotechnology lesson) and the purpose of the visit was to become more familiar with medical and laboratory sciences. They were welcomed by Dr. Sarmad Rahim Karim, Director of the Laboratory, and Mr. Sarbaz Ahmad, Supervisor of the Laboratory. They explained in detail how to prepare slides for histological diseases in practice.

 Then, each student prepared his/her own slides to write a report later about the way of preparing and identifying the tissues.
