Teachers’ Day message from the President of Cihan University-Erbil

Dear Teachers,
World Teachers’ Day is celebrated annually on October 5th and Kurdistan Region commemorate National Teachers’ Day on October 6th. I express my sincere gratitude to all teachers in Kurdistan Region and especially to the lecturers of Cihan University-Erbil.
We, here at Cihan University-Erbil, consider teachers a true pillar of teaching and learning process who play a significant role in educating the future generation. Teachers have always had a crucial function in stimulating learning process in the past and now and they will have in the future. Teachers convey a sacred and fundamental message; they enlighten the students’ lives to contribute to their society more effectively.
In the end, we congratulate you again on your professional day and hope that you fight against illiteracy and ignorance by your academic knowledge.
