The fourth international conference of Administrative and Financial Sciences of Cihan University-Erbil ended its work with significant results
On Wednesdays and Thursdays (3-4/5/2023) under the supervision of Dr. Aram Muhammad Qadir, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Cihan University-Erbil in partnership with The University of Lodzi Poland and Bayama. The attendance of a significant number of academics, researchers, experts, and university teachers led the 4th International Conference on Administrative and Financial Sciences and ended with the conference presenting some results.
During the two days of the conference, 49 research essays were presented through five different panels by researchers and local, Iraqi, and international experts, as followed by the presentation of all the panel’s research, by attendees and participants.
The conference’s participants were asked several questions, and some of the participants enriched their research with their scientific views and criticisms, creating a big scientific groove among conference members, while researchers answered the participants’ questions, comments, and opinions.
On Thursday, May 4, 2023, at the Conference Hall of Cihan University Erbil, the end of the conference agenda came to an end. For this purpose, Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Dalo, president of Cihan University Erbil, presented his speech.
After welcoming the guests, he said: “It is our pleasure that over the past two days, a group of researchers, academics, and scientists have gathered here and participated in enriching the experience of the field of administration and finance and every five topics of the conference. We were pleased to see many high-ranking teachers and researchers in the universities of Kurdistan, Iraq, the region, and several countries around the world in two days.
The president of Cihan University-Erbil explained in his speech that there is no field or sector in society or countries in this era that has been influenced by technology, from military to political and economic, all of which face challenges. They have grown up, so if we can’t overcome those obstacles, or we can’t face them, we can’t move forward with the world, whether it’s state level or economic and financial institutions, and the best way to get out of this situation is Conducting scientific research, he said, “Research means looking for appropriate solutions to the problems we face, and for this purpose, the president of Cihan University-Erbil pointed to the effect.” He conducted research in various fields, particularly in the private sector, as more than 80% of private sector communities are managed, encouraging researchers to conduct more research in the private sector.
Professor Amjad Saber Dalo devoted another part of his speech to the level of researchers’ science and said: “It is a pleasure to have good financial ability and good academic capabilities and good research in this era, but we need a suitable environment for practicing it.” “I have seen high-level research over the past two days,” he said, explaining to researchers that in this era, science research is no longer common to be written only by an expert, but also by researchers. A group of experts must write a field, because each subject receives a set of dimensions, and the dimensions must be researched according to the experts by researchers, then it will be multidimensional, complete, and effective research, and he hoped to participate together in the fifth Conference on Administrative and Financial Science next year with high-level research.
At the end of his speech, Professor Amjad Saber Dalo expressed his special gratitude to all those who have worked to promote and hold the conference in the past, including Lodz University in Poland, which co-ordinated the conference. At the same time, he thanked the committees (science and conference preparation, administration and finance, media and communications, information technology, pioneering and organizing conference halls) and researchers and teachers who participated in their valuable research. The conference has made the conference’s topics richer.
Dr. Mufaq Ahmad Ali, a member of the conference’s preparatory committee, then read the conference’s results, suggestions, and recommendations, in which he discussed solutions to face obstacles facing the administrative and financial fields. He said: All administrative and financial institutions in the private and public sectors in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq should take steps towards implementing the electronic and digital system, to facilitate and run things better and faster. In a way that the goals and desires of institutions and communities are appropriate. He also said that legal and constitutional institutions should take legal action and pass laws in this field to prevent corruption and electronic security protection and determine legal penalties for those who violate it to encourage and attract foreign and local investors to work and invest in various fields.
He also pointed out that implementing the electronic and digital system requires the training of employees and employees in the field, so it is necessary to provide full training opportunities and opportunities for employees in all different institutions while pointing to many other crucial results and recommendations to improve the financial and administrative situation in the era of technology.
In another part of the conference’s final ceremony, a short film about the events and activities of the Fourth International Conference on Administrative and Financial Sciences was shown.
In the final section of the conference, Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Dalo, president of Cihan University Erbil, thanked the conference’s keynote speakers and distributed certificates of participation to researchers and conference organizers.
In this way, Cihan University Erbil, in partnership with The University of Lodzla Poland, ended its work (the fourth International Conference on Administrative and Financial Sciences), and it is decided that the results and suggestions of the conference will be raised to the relevant authorities for implementation.
