The Ministry of Culture and Youth presents honors to the head of the board of trustees of Cihan Universities
In return for supervising and managing the world’s first festival for a mobile short film, the deputy minister of culture and youth presented an honorary award to the head of the board of trustees of Cihan University.
Dr. Salar Osman, deputy minister of culture and youth, said in an interview with Dr. Nawzad Yahya Bajgir, the head of the board of trustees of Cihan University, that it is appropriate to talk about a private university, in all these complications. The political and economic situation in the region has become uncertain, without thinking about such a festival and taking the hands of the country’s young people into art and culture. All the thinking, all the time, and the seizure are appreciated.
Dr. Salar Osman then presented the ministry’s award and honor to Dr. Nawzad Yahya Bajgir, the head of the board of trustees of Cihan University. In return, he thanked the ministry for its award and honor, stressing that Cihan universities will continue to serve all different classes of society.
The first world festival for a mobile short film for 2022, which was organized by the filmmaking department of the cultural center of Cihan universities under the name of Zanyar Adnan Shanaz course in the days (2-3/9/2022) in Empire Family Cinema Mall, was held in Erbil, where 15 short films produced by students from Cihan University were screened, and 6 awards distributed to the best.
