On Thursday, May 21, 2026, a group of exchange students from Cihan University-Erbil, currently studying in Poland, conducted a scientific visit to the National Museum in Warsaw. This activity was held as part of the cultural and field engagement initiatives to enhance civilizational awareness.
During the excursion, the students explored the museum’s primary galleries, embarking on a journey through centuries of human history. At the Gallery of Ancient Art, they observed rare artifacts from Egyptian, Greek, and Roman civilizations. The tour also included the renowned Faras Gallery, which houses Europe’s largest collection of Nubian Christian wall paintings. At the Polish Painting section, the students examined the monumental works of Jan Matejko, analyzing the national and historical dimensions embedded within his masterpieces. Beyond mere observation, the students focused on artistic techniques and the methodologies of artifact preservation, deepening their understanding of the cultural and historical significance of Poland and global heritage.
The participating student group included Kosrat Azad Khidir and Rawa Abdulsattar Jabbar (2nd-year students, Department of Medical Microbiology); Abdullah Muthanna Abdulrazzaq Mohammed (3rd-year student, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics); Hevar Hazhar Mohammed (3rd-year student, Department of Biomedical Sciences). They are set to complete a full academic semester at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.

This experience is vital in fostering a well-rounded, intellectual personality for the future of the Kurdistan Region.
