General Education Department Students Completed a Teaching Practicum at Schools in the Erbil Governorate

Within the teaching practicum framework, fourth-stage students from the General Education Department completed a one-month teaching practicum at public and private schools as part of the requirements to prepare future teachers and assess the level of professional and scientific skills they were previously trained in.

On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, after direct professional practice and interaction with experienced teachers and school administrations about teaching practicum at public and private schools, the students received a well-studied plan from the head of the General Education Department, in cooperation with the school administrations. 95 male and female students, who applied for the 2024-2025 academic year, were distributed among the schools in the Erbil Governorate.

During the teaching practicum period, students were supervised by their instructors through field visits to schools to ensure that they gained the maximum benefit from applying what they learned throughout their studies at the General Education Department. In addition to their instructors, the students were supervised by the administration of the schools where they underwent their teaching practicum.
