General Education Department Students Organized a Seminar on How to Become a Better Person

On Sunday, November 17, 2024, students from the General Education Department at Cihan University-Erbil organized an advisory seminar for the tenth- and eleventh-grade students at Al-Ikhwa Intermediate School in the Erbil Governorate. The How to Become a Better Person seminar, attended by all the school staff, was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Samarand Amini, a lecturer in the General Education Department.

The team was warmly welcomed by the school director, Mr. Mohammed Kako, and several teachers. Then, third-stage students (Karzan Karukh, Nora Imad, and Rayan Azad), along with a second-stage student (Mazen Shirwani), presented the seminar, which covered guidelines and directions for creating an ideal environment, addressing educational difficulties, and adapting to changing learning environment. During the seminar, they also talked about the appropriate strategies to improve academic work and life in general and provide positive energy to over 100 school students in attendance. Moreover, they focused on the psychological problems that students may encounter during their studies and ways to overcome them effectively.

At the end of the seminar, school students asked several questions, which were answered by the team. Mr. Mohammed Kako later thanked the students and wished them success in their future lives. This was followed by Dr. Samarand Amini expressing gratitude to the school administration for their hospitality and warm reception.
