DESCRIPTION
Computer Science Department established in 2007 at Cihan University-Erbil. The Department offers Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science. The program focusses on providing the students with inclusive and rigorous education, preparing the students for future careers and leadership jobs in various computer and IT fields.
VISION
The department of computer science seeks to establish a base of innovators and specialists in computer science and programming languages, to form a distinguished scientific base in areas related to the knowledge and applications of computers, and to prepare plans for the development of the educational tools in order to ensure the fulfillment of the highest quality requirements.
MISSION
The department of computer science seeks to provide graduates qualified to deal with software and information more efficiently, and to provide appropriate opportunities for the capacity building development in order to invest in the information technology advances, and to look forward to preparing outstanding graduates in the field of education.
