Hundreds of Young Alumni Attend Student Products Festival and Job Fair at Cihan University-Erbil
Cihan University-Erbil hosted a vibrant talent show festival celebrating student innovations and exhibit career opportunities through a job fair. The event, held under the direction of Dr. Aram Mohammad Qadir, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the presence of Prof. Dr. Amjad Sabir Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil, and Dr. Nawzad Yahya Bajgar, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Cihan Universities, along with other notable attendees.
The festival showcased the artistic and scientific achievements of students from various departments while offering numerous employment opportunities to graduates and young professionals, as part of the alumni process adopted by Cihan University-Erbil.
During his visit on Monday, November 18, 2024, Prof. Dr. Amjad Sabir Al-Delawi highlighted the significance of such events in promoting students’ talents and skills across diverse fields. He engaged with students, discussing their projects and activities, and emphasized the university’s commitment to supporting and nurturing its students to achieve excellence. Touring the exhibits, he commended the students’ ability to produce innovative work, both in scientific domains and beyond.
Dr. Nawzad Yahya Bajgar, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, extended his gratitude to the students, encouraging them to continue growing and innovating in science and culture.
The Science, Culture, and Art Festival also featured health-awareness initiatives, where students provided health guidelines, conducted various tests, and interacted with attendees, including teachers and peers, to promote health education.
Meanwhile, the Job Opportunities Fair offered hundreds of employment opportunities in various sectors to graduates from Cihan University and other institutions, as well as to young attendees and visitors. The collaboration of dozens of companies from different industries underscored the event’s role in bridging the gap between academia and the job market.
