Two Lecturers from Cihan University-Erbil Participate in a Course in the Netherlands to Improve Linking Educational Programs with the Labor Market
As part of building and developing the capacities in the field of (blended learning) and linking educational curricula and programs and providing training opportunities in the labor market, two teachers from Cihan university are participating in a special course in the Netherlands.
Cihan University – Erbil last year won the title of the best university in applying blended learning and improving the link of education programs with the labor market. In this context, the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands announced its cooperation with the Faculty of Technology at the University of Limones (LTUC).
The project presented and financially supported by the NUFFIC-funded TMT+ Project (OKP-QEfR-40007)) consists of three phases. The first phase started on February 14, 2021 with the participation of a number of Cihan University-Erbil teachers.
As for the second stage, it was about how to take advantage of the media to implement theoretical and virtual lessons. This stage was held in September 2021 in Jordan with the participation of ma scientific staff from Cihan University – Erbil.
In this context, Dr. Amina Sabah Mahmoud, Head of the Department of Medical Microbiology, and Assistant Lecturer Muhammad Hussain Bajalan, Head of the Department of Computer Science participated in a course on how to design training courses in the Netherlands,
And as stated in the previous announcement, which stated that “Cihan University – Erbil is the best university, and it is one of the universities that had a great impact in providing opportunities for Iraqi students and youth to complete their higher studies and finding job opportunities in the labor market.”
And Cihan University – Erbil continues to link its educational programs with the labor market in a better way, to provide more job opportunities for students not only in Kurdistan, but also in Iraq and in the region and keep pace with the changes that occur at the global level.
