In general, all academic courses are taught in English. In the case of Law studies, students study in Arabic in addition to English.

Classes are offered weekdays (morning and evening) from 8:30 AM until 9:30 PM.
Cihan University-Erbil teaching faculty is considered an outstanding one. Qualified and experienced lecturers from inside and outside Iraq are responsible in providing their fine teaching services.
Students should try to attend all classes. Poor attendance may result in a final warning letter. Then in the event of regular poor attendance without justification, disciplinary action which may lead to expulsion will be taken.

There are two regular semesters per academic year (September, February) with almost 16 weeks duration of each.
Cihan University-Erbil continuously seeks and develops academic agreements for collaboration with prestigious universities around the world. Information about such collaborations is available at the International Office (Building 5, 2nd floor).
Building 5 is located at the center of the campus and it is the Presidency Building. The offices of the Board of Trustees and the President’s Office are located at the 4th floor.
In principle, yes. However, transfer applicant needs to be eligible for admission and meet the university requirements.
