World Food Day is an international day celebrated every year worldwide on October 16 to commemorate the date of the founding of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization in 1945. Every year, the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Cihan University- Erbil celebrates this special day with several activities aiming to increase people’s awareness on food education and increasing food production under the theme of Hand in Hand for Better Food and a Better Future. Under the Patronage of the President of Cihan University-Erbil, The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics is Organizing A Workshop and Food Exhibition on the Occasion of World Food Day (WFD) 16/ October / 2025, Building #4, VIP Hall.
