A Visit to the Union of Muslim Scholars of Kurdistan by the Media Department Students: Enhancing Scientific and Cognitive Communication

To enhance scientific and cognitive communication for the Media Department students at Cihan University – Erbil, several second-stage students from this department visited the headquarters of the Union of Muslim Scholars of Kurdistan on February 6, 2025. This visit was part of a series of activities and events organized by the university to enrich the students’ experience and expand their perceptions in various fields, including the religious field.

During the visit, the students Omar Ghaleb, Sarkar Hussein, and Qarman Johar met with several prominent scholars of the Union, where they exchanged ideas about the important roles played by the media in serving society, spreading correct religious awareness, combating extremism, and promoting the values ​​of tolerance and peaceful coexistence. They also learned about the activities and projects carried out by the Union to serve the true Islamic religion, spread its tolerant teachings, and overcome the challenges facing the Islamic nation.

After the visit, the students expressed their pleasure and appreciation for this valuable experience, stressing that it increased their knowledge and broadened their understanding of the media and its importance.  They also praised the efforts of the Union in spreading Sharia knowledge and promoting the values ​​of tolerance and peaceful coexistence in society.
