A Voluntary Activity Organized by the Department of Public Administration

On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, the Public Administration Department at Cihan University-Erbil, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Raz Azad Jalal, organized a voluntary activity at the Erbil Orphanage. Upon arrival, Assistant Lecturer Raz Azad and the students were warmly received by Mr. Sherwan Abdulrahman.

They prepared and served lunch to 70 children, creating a supportive and cheerful atmosphere. After lunch, the students interacted with the children, playing games and having conversations. They learned more about the orphanage’s daily operations and the children’s needs. This experience provided valuable insights into social welfare and the challenges of orphanage care.

At the end of the visit, Assistant Lecturer Raz Azad and the students expressed their gratitude to the orphanage for its hospitality and continued commitment to the children’s welfare. This initiative highlighted the importance of giving back to the community and supporting those in need.
