Accounting Department Students Participate in the Odoo 19 Business Show

On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, a group of third-year Accounting Department students, supervised by Lecturer Rebin Bilal Mohammed, visited the Odoo Business Show in Erbil.

The exhibition, held at the Rotana Hotel, featured a presentation by Mr. Anas Kifah Karim, a company strategist at Odoo. He began by explaining the key features of the Odoo system and its crucial role in strengthening modern business management practices. During his talk, he emphasized the numerous benefits of adopting the latest and most powerful version, Odoo 19, which allows institutions, companies, and organizations to experience integrated business solutions, enhanced by AI-powered website functionalities.

Furthermore, Mr. Karim explained that Odoo 19 offers renewed e-commerce interfaces, improved Point of Sale (POS) workflows, advanced inventory management, and flexible production tools. These innovations make operations more efficient, reduce costs, and boost productivity. He also highlighted that these advancements enable companies to make data-driven decisions, enhance customer experiences, and achieve sustainable, smarter business growth.

At the end of the event, he encouraged the students to undergo thorough training on the program, especially in accounting, outlining its wide-ranging benefits across production, management, sales, e-commerce, and other business functions.
