Air Pollutants and their Effect on Plants in a Scientific Activity
On Wednesday 2nd of March 2022, Medical Biochemical Analysis Department in Cihan University-Erbil, under the supervision of the Assistant Lecturer (Ban Abdullah Muhammad), conducted an experiment on air pollutants and their effect on plants and thus the impact of these pollutants on the environment and humans in general.
The experiment was conducted by surveying and selecting a number of trees at Cihan University. After choosing the trees the experiment was applied on the leaves of plants. Various types of plants were taken and experiments were conducted on them.
The results were reached with the presence of a large percentage of air pollution on plants, which consequently affects humans as well, for example, as it affects the respiratory systems of humans, lungs, or heart functions, and it can also affect the kidney and the eyes and cause vision impairment as well…
