Assistant Lecturer from the Department of Architectural Engineering Visits the Intelligent Construction Industry College to Explore Future Cooperation in China

On 13 July 2026, Assistant Lecturer Lana Shahab Ahmed from the Department of Architectural Engineering at Cihan University-Erbil visited the Intelligent Construction Industry College in Fujian, China, as part of ‘The Development of the Intelligent Construction Industry for Belt and Road Countries’ training program organized under the China Aid Program.
The visit was organized to strengthen academic exchange and promote future cooperation among Belt and Road countries. During the visit, Assistant Lecturer Lana Shahab Ahmed learned about the college’s academic programs, advanced educational facilities, and innovative approaches to intelligent construction, civil engineering, and vocational education.
As part of the visit, Assistant Lecturer Lana Shahab Ahmed met with Ms. Chen Yuny from the Civil Engineering Department. Their meeting focused on exchanging academic knowledge and discussing opportunities for future cooperation in intelligent construction, architectural education, civil engineering, and research.
The visit also included discussions on strengthening future collaboration and promoting knowledge exchange between the two institutions. As part of the program, the Intelligent Construction Industry College conducted an interview with Assistant Lecturer Lana Shahab Ahmed, during which she shared her academic background, reflected on her experience in the training program, and highlighted the importance of international cooperation in higher education and the advancement of the intelligent construction industry.
