A Biomedical Sciences Student Takes the Preliminary Exam of the Arab Toxicology Competition at the Poison Control Center in Dammam
Sara Hajim Sultan, a fourth-year student from the Department of Biomedical Sciences at Cihan University – Erbil, continues to participate in the Arab Toxicology Competition 2025, held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the supervision of Dr. Anas Saadeh Al-Khoury.
On Friday, October 24, 2025, the student took part in the preliminary examination of the competition, conducted at the Ministry of Health Poison Control Center for the Eastern Region in Dammam. A total of 27 universities from various Arab countries participated in this round, with Cihan University – Erbil scheduled to take the exam at 3:30 p.m.
The examination consisted of 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) to be completed within 50 minutes. Time management was included as one of the evaluation criteria, adding an element of precision and challenge to the competition.
This participation forms part of the 6th International Conference, Workshops, and Exhibition on Pharmacology and Toxicology (KSAPT), organized in Riyadh from October 27 to 29, 2025, within the framework of the Global Health Exhibition and the Global Forensic Excellence Summit (GFEX).
