On Sunday, October 11, 2026, the Department of Business Administration at Cihan University–Erbil organized an educational visit to World of Dimensions Digital Solutions Company for students from different academic stages. The visit was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Hevi Mohammed Qader.

Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by Mr. Safin Karim Tawfiq, the company’s manager, who introduced them to the company’s activities and operations. Mr. Safin explained that the company’s main branch is located in Erbil, with additional branches in Baghdad and Dubai. He noted that the company operates in Dubai under the name AlKhutwa Althakiya.

He emphasized the importance of expanding business operations across different locations and explained how diversifying income sources can increase profits, strengthen a company’s market position, and reduce financial risks. He also advised students to gain practical experience at the beginning of their careers, highlighting its importance in developing professional skills and achieving future success.

Mr. Safin then introduced the company’s services, including supplying equipment and providing services to large commercial companies, particularly in the field of surveillance cameras. He highlighted the importance of financial planning when starting a business, explaining that expenses such as office rent, employee salaries, and other operating costs must be carefully calculated. He also emphasized the value of building and maintaining professional relationships, noting that strong business connections can facilitate work, create new opportunities, and attract more customers.

Towards the end of his presentation, Mr. Safin discussed the importance of customer satisfaction through offering suitable products, maintaining good quality, and setting reasonable prices. He explained that pricing strategies should reflect market conditions to build customer trust and support business success.

During another part of the visit, Mr. Mohammed Burhan Khidr, the company’s Information Technology (IT) Manager, emphasized the importance of customer feedback in improving company performance and achieving success. He also introduced several modern technological systems, including the License Plate Recognition (LPR) system, which identifies vehicle license plates as vehicles enter large projects and facilities. In addition, he explained the Face ID system, which recognizes and verifies individuals’ identities when they enter company premises and project sites.

Mr. Mohammed also explained the company’s procedures for handling new projects. When the company receives a new request, its team first visits the site to assess the project’s requirements. After reaching an agreement with the project owner, the team prepares a work plan and installs cameras or other systems according to the site’s specific needs. At the end of the visit, Assistant Lecturer Hevi Mohammed Qader and the students expressed their gratitude to the management and staff of World of Dimensions Digital Solutions Company for providing them with this valuable learning opportunity.
