Business Administration Students Visit Deniz Company to Explore Company Operations
On Wednesday, 21 January 2026, the Business Administration Department at Cihan University–Erbil organized a scientific visit to enhance students’ understanding of the practical aspects of company operations. The visit was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Hevi Mohammed Qader and took place at Deniz Company, which specializes in the production and sale of cleaning products.
Upon arrival, second- and fourth-stage students from the Business Administration Department were warmly received by Mr. Yasser Safa Al-Din Yassin, the owner and manager of the company. At the beginning of the visit, he informed the students that Deniz Company is originally Turkish and has obtained official agency rights to operate two branches in the cities of Baghdad and Erbil.
During the visit, Mr. Yasser explained that the company has achieved strong competitiveness in the market in terms of both quality and price. He also noted that the products are manufactured using advanced machinery and have received a four-star rating for high quality.
Mr. Yasser highlighted the diversity of the company’s production, stating that it manufactures more than 110 types of cleaning products, including glass cleaners, liquid soap, steel cleaners, and many other items. He added that the raw materials used in production are imported from China and Turkey. He further explained that the company currently supplies its products only to hotels and restaurants; however, future plans include expanding sales to local markets to make the products accessible to all consumers.
In addition, Mr. Yasser emphasized the importance of wholesale distribution across all Iraqi provinces. He explained the company’s sales system, noting that products are sold on credit, financial transactions are conducted in Iraqi dinars, and the company uses the German-developed Phenix accounting system.
At the end of the visit, Mr. Yasser Safa Al-Din answered several questions raised by the students. In turn, the supervising lecturer expressed sincere appreciation to the company’s owner for providing this valuable opportunity, which enabled students to gain direct and practical insight into real-world company operations.
