Business Administration Students Visit Erbil High School for Outstanding Girls to Assess Development Needs

On Tuesday, 25 November 2025, as part of its ongoing community service initiatives, the Business Administration Department at Cihan University–Erbil, under the patronage of Dr. Hawkar Qasim Berdawood, Head of the Department, organized a field visit to Erbil High School for Outstanding Girls.

The visit, led by Dr. Qusay Hameed Al-Salami and accompanied by a group of fourth-stage students, focused on evaluating the school’s key needs, particularly regarding the mobile classroom caravans in use, reflecting the university’s commitment to social responsibility and support for educational institutions.

The delegation was warmly received by the School Principal, Mrs. Ruqia Salahuddin Shaker, who highlighted the school’s most urgent requirements during a tour, including comprehensive maintenance of the caravans, some of which have damaged floors, the installation of safe electrical systems, repainting of walls, and the replacement of broken windows. This initiative represents the Department’s voluntary effort to strengthen university-community partnerships, and the findings of the visit will inform a detailed report outlining intervention priorities and strategies to rehabilitate the school environment, creating a safe and supportive space that fosters creativity and academic excellence.
