Cihan University-Erbil and Westcliff University Move Towards Strengthening Academic Partnership
In line with Cihan University-Erbil’s strategy to expand its network of international relations and build academic bridges with leading global institutions, a series of strategic online discussions were held with Westcliff University from the United States of America.
During these meetings, Professor Dr. Ayad Kakayi, Vice President for Scientific Affairs at Cihan University-Erbil, and Professor Maia Edmunds, Global Engagement Analyst at Westcliff University, discussed several key topics related to exploring avenues for cooperation and developing academic ties. The discussions primarily focused on areas of joint scientific research, student and faculty exchange programs, and the organization of joint workshops and conferences.
These fruitful discussions culminated in the drafting of a preliminary Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two universities. This memorandum is expected to be formally signed soon and will include several key articles and clauses that will form the foundation for a long-term and productive partnership.
