Cihan University – Erbil Concludes the Third International Scientific Conference
On Thursday 16th of December 2021 Cihan University – Erbil concluded ‘The Third International Scientific Conference in Modern Trends in Law and International Relations’ in the conference hall. The conference was held in cooperation with Jadara University – Jordan for two days 15th and 16th of December with the participation of a number of researchers from inside and outside Iraq.
As part of the closing ceremony of the conference, Dr. Abdul-Sattar Karim Saeed, vice president of the university for administrative and students affairs presented the recommendations that the conference came out with through the scientific sessions of the researchers participating in the conference. The total number of researches was (64) research papers, which were presented over two days, and among these recommendations:
- Adjusting laws related to digital currencies in line with developments in this field.
- Adopting educational policies that embrace teaching of human rights in a manner that provides appropriate awareness.
- Adopting procedures and policies commensurate with the importance of the issue of providing an adequate share of water with neighboring countries.
- To work on adopting commensurate policies and procedures that guarantee Iraq a proper position with all countries of the world.
- Establishing a peace ground to implement the plans of the United Nations in maintaining international peace and security.
Subsequently, Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Dalawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil, delivered a speech at the closing ceremony in which he congratulated the attendees for the success of the conference, stressing that the conference’s recommendations would be taken into consideration and implemented to achieve the goals of the conference that seek to serve the community and all its institutions, especially in the field of law and international relations.
He also thanked and appreciated the organizers of the conference at Jadara University – Jordan, as well as all the committees that worked on the conference for more than six months. Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Dalawi pointed out that Cihan University – Erbil continues to hold international scientific conferences to serve science and society.
Later, the President of Jadara University – Jordan, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Talib Obeidat, delivered his speech in which he expressed his admiration for the scientific capabilities at Cihan University-Erbil including the teaching staff and the educational centers available there. He also expressed his gratitude for the efforts made by Cihan University-Erbil in making this conference successful, stressing on the continuation of holding joint scientific conferences that increase the exchange of scientific experiences between the two universities.
Also, Dr. Nawzad Yahya Bajker, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Cihan Universities, gave his speech in which he thanked all the organizers of this conference from both universities, and said that Cihan University-Erbil will always be a pioneer in the establishment of international scientific conferences, wishing more success and progress for both universities.
In another part of the closing cermony, Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Dalawi and Dr. Nawzad Yahya Bajker presented appreciative gifts to the President of Jadara University – Jordan, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and the Dean of the College of Law for their active participation and their role in the success of the conference. The President of Jadara University and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees also presented the appreciation gifts to Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Dalawi, Dr. Nawzad Yahya Bajker and Dr. Abdul Sattar Karim Saeed.
At the end of the conference, all researchers participating in the conference with their scientific research were given certificates of participation, as well as taking memorial photos of the researchers according to each session.
