Cihan University-Erbil delegation will obtain some master and doctoral studies opportunities for its graduates in Poland

The delegation of Cihan University-Erbil، headed by Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi , and the Head of the International Relations Department of Warsaw University of Life Sciences، in light of the agreement between Cihan University-Erbil and Warsaw University in 2019، agreed on many crucial issues، especially in receiving scholarships for graduates of Cihan University-Erbil to complete master and doctoral studies.

The agreement was reached on Monday, May 8, 2023, during a meeting between Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, president of Cihan University-Erbil, the university’s delegation, and Dr.Katarzyna Specjalska, Head of the International Relations Office at Warsaw University of Life Sciences.

At the meeting, the President of Cihan University- Erbil thanked Warsaw University of Life Sciences which last year provided the opportunity to study a course in the framework of the Erasmus Plus Program for the students of Cihan University -Erbil، in this context and after discussing their relations the two sides agreed on the exchange of lecturers and students particularly the agreement to extend the Erasmus-plus program until 2027. For this purpose، it was decided that next month، another group of students from Cihan University-Erbil will be sent to the same university. The university is committed to a short-term study program and is supported by funding from the European Union.

In another section of the meeting, both universities reached an understanding that the students of Cihan University-Erbil have the opportunity to pursue master and doctoral degrees within the framework of the Erasmus Mundus Program, which is supported by Warsaw University. They also agreed that the lecturers of Cihan University-Erbil could enroll in a course of study at the university through this program in addition to hosting exchange students.
