Cihan University-Erbil Football Championship: Victories for Media and Nursing Departments

On Sunday, January 26, 2025, two matches were held at the Cihan University-Erbil stadium under the supervision of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences.

 In the first match of the second round, the Media Department team faced the Physical Education and Sports Sciences Department team, with the Media Department emerging victorious by a score of 4-3.

The second match featured the Nursing Community Health Department team against the Medical Microbiology Department team, with the Nursing Community Health Department securing a dominant 6-0 victory.

It is worth noting that the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Cihan University-Erbil, under the supervision of Dr. Zhyan Jamal, organizes annual championships in various sports, with the mini-football championship being one of the

key events that encourage participation from students across all departments.
