Cihan University–Erbil Organizes Seminar on Marketing Strategies for Physiotherapy Services
Under the patronage of the President of Cihan University–Erbil, the Department of Physiotherapy, in collaboration with the Kurdistan Physiotherapists Syndicate, organized a seminar titled Marketing Strategies for Physiotherapy Services in Kurdistan. The seminar was held on Monday, January 19, 2026, and lasted approximately two hours at the VIP Hall of Cihan University–Erbil.
During the seminar, the presenters, Eng. Botan Wais Jalal and PT. Ali Saman Mahmood, provided a detailed explanation of key marketing strategies relevant to physiotherapy services. The sessions covered general marketing concepts, social media marketing for physiotherapists, the role of artificial intelligence in healthcare marketing, and the importance of personal branding. These topics were discussed with a focus on improving service visibility, attracting patients, and strengthening professional presence within the regional healthcare market.
The seminar emphasized patient-centered and ethical marketing approaches, highlighting how effective communication and strategic promotion can support physiotherapy as an essential component of preventive care, rehabilitation, and long-term health management. Participants benefited from practical examples and strategic insights aimed at enhancing patient engagement, building trust, and supporting the sustainable growth of physiotherapy services in Kurdistan.
