Cihan University–Erbil Sponsors and Participates in the Second Radiology Exhibition and Conference in Baghdad

Cihan University–Erbil proudly sponsored and participated in the Second Radiology Exhibition and Conference, which was held in Baghdad on 12–13 June 2026 and organized by the Iraqi Syndicate of Health Professions. The event brought together a distinguished group of specialists, academics, and professionals in the fields of radiology and medical imaging.
The university’s participation included more than 100 students from the Department of Radiological Imaging Technologies, supervised by the department head, Assistant Lecturer Omar Adil Mohammed Ali. The conference provided students with an opportunity to explore the latest medical imaging technologies and equipment, as well as attend scientific sessions and workshops highlighting recent advancements and innovations in this vital field.
Yousif Yaseen, a student from the Department of Radiological Imaging Technologies, expressed his enthusiasm, stating: “The conference gave us a valuable opportunity to interact directly with experts and specialists and learn about the latest developments in radiology. It enriched our knowledge and helped us connect what we learn in the classroom with practical applications in the field.”
Meanwhile, Mr. Mustafa Al-Zubaidi, Chairman of the Conference Organizing Committee, praised Cihan University–Erbil’s contribution to the success of the event, stating: ‘The university’s sponsorship of the conference and the active participation of a large number of its students reflect its strong commitment to supporting applied education and developing young talent. Its contribution enriched the conference activities and strengthened collaboration between academic institutions and professional organizations in the field of medical imaging.’
