Cihan University-Erbil Student Explored France While Completing Studies in Poland
Dhanoun Saad Dhanoun, a student from the Department of Medical Biochemical Analysis at Cihan University-Erbil, had the opportunity to visit Paris, France while completing his studies at the University of Łódź in Poland. During his visit, he explored the city’s rich cultural, historical, and civilizational landmarks, gaining deeper insights into France’s heritage and academic environment.
Among the notable sites he visited was the Louvre Museum, where he admired world-renowned masterpieces such as the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo. He also experienced the grandeur of the Eiffel Tower during the day and when it was illuminated at night. Additionally, he explored Les Invalides, home to Napoleon Bonaparte’s tomb, and enjoyed scenic views of the Seine River from the Pont de Carrousel.
Reflecting on his experience, he emphasized how the visit broadened his academic and cultural perspectives, particularly through exposure to artistic masterpieces at the Louvre and France’s rich civic and historical landscape. He expressed his gratitude to Cihan University-Erbil for continuously encouraging its students to engage in international academic and cultural experiences.
