Cihan University-Erbil Student Explores Corpus Museum in the Netherlands
Sipan Nowzad Ismail, a student from the Medical Biochemical Analysis Department at Cihan University-Erbil, currently completing his course at Lodz University in Poland, visited the renowned Corpus Human Body Museum in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He explored the world’s only museum dedicated to presenting the human body in an interactive and educational manner.
The Corpus Museum, designed in the shape of a human figure, takes visitors on a journey from the ankle to the brain. Each section is dedicated to a specific part of the human body, offering a unique educational experience. The advanced 3D design provides a detailed view of the body’s inner workings, making it a one-of-a-kind destination for science enthusiasts.
Sipan Nowzad described his visit as a significant milestone in his educational journey. “The museum has enriched my perspective on biology and the healthcare system of the human body while also being deeply inspiring,” he said.
He added, “One of the most interesting parts was the presentation of the digestive system. I could clearly see how the digestive system processes nutrition, from chewing to digestion.” He also found the section on the heart and lungs fascinating, learning how oxygen is transported through the blood to generate energy. The brain section provided valuable insights into its ability to think, feel, and control human functions.
