Cihan University-Erbil Student Participates in the International Youth Day Activities
On Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the Babylon Rotana Hotel in Baghdad, Hajar Muhammed Ali, a fourth-year Physiotherapy student from Cihan University-Erbil, participated in the central celebration of International Youth Day 2025.
She had the honor of delivering a keynote address at this high-profile event, which was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Muhammed Al-Mubraqaa. Held under the theme “Iraqi Youth and Sustainable Solutions,” the celebration provided a platform for Hajar to address a distinguished audience on the importance of community empowerment and entrepreneurship.
In her speech, Hajar highlighted the transformative role of Iraqi youth in building a resilient and sustainable future. She emphasized innovation, active civic engagement, and the energy of the younger generation as key drivers in addressing the country’s social and professional challenges.
The event brought together representatives from the United Nations, members of the diplomatic community, political leaders, civil society organizations, and young changemakers from across Iraq.
Hajar’s participation not only amplified her voice as a youth advocate but also reinforced her belief that Iraqi youth possess the vision, determination, and potential to serve as catalysts for meaningful change and to shape a more inclusive and sustainable future.
