Cihan University-Erbil Students Arrive at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) in Poland
A second group of students from Cihan University-Erbil recently departed from Erbil International Airport to Poland to commence a study course there. On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, they arrived safely at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) in Poland.
The group consists of three students: Ibrahim Zaki Mohammed Salih, a second-stage student in the Physiotherapy Department; Marwan Mohammed Ahmed, a second-stage student in the Nutrition and Dietetics Department; and Mohamed Ali Baktish, a third-stage student in the Medical Laboratory Analysis Department. They are required to complete a study course at SGGW as part of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between both universities for the 2025-2026 academic year.
It is also part of Cihan University-Erbil’s continuous efforts to develop international collaborations, strengthen scientific exchange, and enhance academic training. Additionally, it represents a significant step in implementing the ongoing MoU between Cihan University-Erbil and SGGW, which has been in effect for several years, leading to numerous groups of students being sent to the university and successfully completing their study courses there.
The students will begin their respective study courses at SGGW in their areas of specialization in the coming days. This program offers them a golden opportunity to acquire new knowledge and experience in an advanced academic environment while fostering cultural and scientific relations with Poland.
