Cihan University-Erbil Students Attend Workshop to Improve Business Skills

On Friday, January 17, 2025, students of Cihan University-Erbil joined a workshop to learn more about trade and business.

This event was organized the University of Lodz in Poland, as Professor Dr. Michal Dziekoński led the sessions. On students’ part, Raya Amir Abdul Jabar and Sidra Nihad Ishaq Issa, students from the Department of Business Administration, participated in the activities designed to give real-world business experience.

The workshop focused on learning through action. Students worked on business challenges and practiced decision-making in realistic scenarios. This learning approach helped them build important skills for the global job market. The workshop included two main activities. In the first, students worked in teams to plan strategies and manage resources. In the second, they competed in a fast-paced exercise to practice quick decision-making under pressure. These activities encouraged teamwork, creative thinking, and problem solving.

The students of Cihan University-Erbil joined the workshop with excitement and shared positive feedback. They said the workshop gave them more confidence and helped them develop key skills like leadership, communication, and strategic thinking, which will help them in their future careers.
