Cihan University-Erbil Students Began Attending the Intensive English Language Development Course in the UK

On Monday, June 29, 2026, a group of Cihan University-Erbil students began attending the Intensive English Language Development Course in the United Kingdom, indicating a strategic collaboration between Cihan University-Erbil and the International Foundation Group (IFG).

This two-week course features theoretical and practical training supervised by specialized international faculty. On the inaugural day, students were introduced to modern British educational systems and academic standards. The curriculum covers advanced grammar, oral communication, and scientific writing, emphasizing English as the primary gateway to global knowledge resources. The course employs interactive pedagogical methods to enhance students’ communication skills and adapt them to European learning environments.

Supervised by Dr. Anas Al-Khouri, the students consist of Rayan Hussein Hassan (3rd-year, Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences), Ali Maher Dawood (4th-year, Department of Medical Biochemical Analysis), and Rekawt Abdullah Rasul (4th-year, Department of Computer Science) from Cihan University-Erbil.
