Cihan University – Erbil Students Celebrate Nowruz and the Kurdish New Year at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences

On Thursday, March 20, 2025, a group of Cihan University – Erbil students currently studying at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences under a mutual agreement participated in an event organized in honor of Nowruz for students from various nationalities.

They, along with students from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds, took part in a joyful celebration featuring traditional music, group dances, and other festive activities. They marked Nowruz and the Kurdish New Year by wearing colorful traditional Kurdish clothing, participating in cultural performances, and sharing their happiness.

The significance of Nowruz, which symbolizes renewal, hope, and cultural pride, was highlighted during the celebration, emphasizing the importance of strengthening cultural connections.
