Cihan University-Erbil Students Complete the Fifth Day of English Language Training
On Monday, July 6, 2026, the participating students from Cihan University-Erbil successfully concluded the fifth day of their intensive English language development program at the International Foundation Group (IFG) headquarters in Mandeville, United Kingdom.
Conducted in a highly interactive learning environment, the program focused on strengthening the students’ English language proficiency and enhancing their intercultural communication skills. The instructor, Dr. John, delivered a series of educational and cultural activities designed to enrich the students’ learning experience in accordance with international standards. Throughout the sessions, the Cihan University-Erbil students participated actively and enthusiastically, demonstrating remarkable progress in both their linguistic abilities and academic competencies.
As part of the fifth day’s activities, the students also undertook a scientific and educational visit to Arsenal Football Club, one of the most renowned sports institutions in the United Kingdom and worldwide. During the visit, the participating students from Cihan University-Erbil were accompanied by a professional guide who provided comprehensive insights into the club’s history, institutional development, and major sporting and administrative achievements. The participants also toured the stadium’s main facilities, gaining firsthand knowledge of the management and operational systems of a leading international sports organization. This experience added significant educational and cultural value to the program.
The participating students are Rayan Hussein Hassan (third-year, Physical Education and Sports Sciences), Ali Maher Dawood (fourth-year, Medical Biochemical Analysis), and Rekawt Abdullah Rasul (fourth-year, Computer Science), under the supervision of Mr. Anas Saada Salim Al-Khouri. The program is being conducted as part of the ongoing academic collaboration established through the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Cihan University-Erbil and the International Foundation Group (IFG).
