Cihan University-Erbil Students Completed their Course Successfully in Poland
Following the successful completion of their courses and final examinations at Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) and the University of Łódź in Poland, students from Cihan University-Erbil have returned to the Kurdistan Region.
In a welcoming meeting on Tuesday, February 17, 2025, Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Al Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil, praised the students for their hard work and perseverance. He stated, “Your selection was not an easy task, but we are happy that we succeeded.” He also acknowledged the contributions of department heads and the students’ families in enhancing the reputation of their country, university, and faculty. This achievement has paved the way for future collaboration with Warsaw University of Life Sciences and the University of Łódź.
Professor Dr. Amjad emphasized that the students have become excellent representatives of the university, bringing honor to both the institution and their country. He informed them about the various career opportunities available after graduation, including academic positions. Furthermore, he encouraged them to share their experiences from this academic journey, whether related to the support of Cihan University-Erbil or the insights gained at the Polish institutions.
Additionally, Professor Dr. Amjad expressed his hope that this experience would motivate students to pursue a master’s degree in Poland, as they have become familiar with its academic environment. He reminded them that their personal and academic development is of utmost importance and urged them to take pride in their achievements, both ethically and academically.
The students expressed their gratitude to Professor Dr. Amjad and the faculty of Cihan University-Erbil for their continuous support. They shared their positive experiences during the program, noting that some groups arrived in Warsaw in February 2024, while others arrived in early October 2024. Ultimately, they completed their studies at the University of Łódź and Warsaw University of Life Sciences.
This program, a collaborative effort among Cihan University-Erbil, Warsaw University of Life Sciences, and the University of Łódź, offered a comprehensive academic experience that combined theoretical lessons with practical laboratory training.
Throughout their stay in Poland, the students participated in various scientific activities that enriched their knowledge and skills. Their performance impressed university professors, underscoring the significance of this international academic collaboration.
