Cihan University–Erbil Students Conduct a Scientific Visit to the Museum of Nature in Poland

As part of completing an academic course at the University of Łódź, students from Cihan University–Erbil conducted a scientific visit to the Museum of Nature Lasu i Drewna in Łódź, Poland.

The visit took place on Sunday, November 2, 2025, and included fourth-year students from the Department of Business Administration at Cihan University–Erbil namely, Seedra Nihad Isshaq, Raya Ameer Aljabbar, and Avin Raad Mohammed. During the visit, the students explored various sections of the museum, where they were introduced to numerous preserved specimens of birds, insects, and other animals. While touring this section, they carefully examined information related to birds, gaining a comprehensive understanding of different species, their behaviors, and their adaptations to diverse environments.

In another part of the visit, the students actively participated in a short workshop conducted by museum experts. During this session, they learned about methods of preserving natural specimens and the proper techniques for handling them. This hands-on experience offered the students a valuable opportunity to observe and understand scientific processes in practice.

Additionally, the visit included an interactive scientific competition focused on the classification of various birds, insects, and animals. The students from Cihan University–Erbil enthusiastically prepared for and took part in this competition, making the experience both engaging and intellectually stimulating. The activity served as an excellent way to test and strengthen their scientific knowledge.
