Cihan University-Erbil Students in Poland Explore the Architectural and Historical Heritage

A group of students from the Department of Biomedical Sciences and the Department of Medical Microbiology at Cihan University-Erbil conducted a cultural field visit to the historic Old Town Stare Miasto in Warsaw. The participating students included Hevar Hazhar, a third-year student from the Department of Biomedical Sciences, Kosrat Azad and Rawa Abdulsattar, second-year students from the Department of Medical Microbiology. The visit aimed to explore historical landmarks and engage with the cultural and civilizational heritage of the host country as part of their ongoing educational activities.
While touring the historic streets and alleys, the students observed various architectural styles and cultural symbols that reflect the rich history of the Polish capital. The excursion provided an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand insight into the city’s historical heritage and develop a deeper understanding of Polish culture, thereby enhancing their knowledge, and cultural awareness.
At the end of the visit, the students expressed that the field activity offered more than just a valuable academic experience. It also provided new insights into the importance of preserving national identity, promoting peaceful coexistence, and broadening intellectual horizons.
