Cihan University-Erbil Students in Poland: Exploring Cultural and Historical Landmarks
On Monday, February 22, 2025, students from Cihan University-Erbil, along with a group of students from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), embarked on a cultural trip to explore various regions of Warsaw.
The tour included visits to several historical and cultural landmarks, notably the Palace of Culture and Science, one of the city’s most iconic structures dating back to the Soviet era. This landmark remains one of Poland’s largest cultural and scientific centers.
During their visit, students explored different sections of the pavilion and engaged with permanent exhibitions covering topics in science, technology, and culture.In addition to the Palace of Culture and Science, the students also toured other significant cultural and historical sites, including Warsaw’s UNESCO-listed Old Town. This experience provided them with a deeper understanding of Poland’s rich heritage.
As part of the visit, Cihan University-Erbil students Lavin Walid Biraumr from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, along with Mina Hussein Karim, Vine Khalil Mirza, and Mani Saleh Sulaiman from the Department of Biomedical Sciences collaborated with their counterparts from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. This interaction fostered academic exchange and gave students a greater appreciation of cultural and historical diversity. The experience also helped strengthen academic cooperation and broaden their international perspectives.
