Cihan University-Erbil Students Met the Director of the Economic Institute at the University of Lodz

On Wednesday, March 26, 2025, as part of their studies, students from Cihan University-Erbil met with Professor Dr. Tomasz Dorożyński from the Faculty of Economics and Sociology at the University of Lodz. In addition to his role as a professor, he serves as the Director of the Economic Institute in the Department of International Economics.

During the session, Cihan University-Erbil students Diyari Askandar Salim Babakr and Mohammad Wrya Khidr, from the Computer Science Department, engaged in discussions with Professor Dr.Tomas on various topics.

Professor Dr.Tomas reflected on his recent visit to the Kurdistan Region, where he participated in the 5th International Conference on Business and Finance at Cihan University-Erbil. He described the event as a major success and shared his experiences of exploring different places in Kurdistan. He was particularly impressed by the beauty of Akrê city.

He encouraged the students to make the most of their time at the University of Lodz, develop their skills, and gain valuable experiences. He also reassured them of his full support.

In response, the students thanked Professor Dr.Tomas for the meeting and emphasized the importance of strengthening academic ties between Cihan University-Erbil and the University of Lodz. They highlighted the benefits of collaboration, which contribute to scientific progress and the exchange of knowledge.
