Cihan University-Erbil Students Visit Iraqi Embassy in Poland
On Thursday, January 16, 2025, a group of students from Cihan University-Erbil, currently studying in Poland, visited the Iraqi Embassy in Warsaw. Dr. Mohammed al-Khalqani, the Head of Cultural Affairs at the Embassy, gave the students a warm welcome. During the visit, the students had a meeting with academics and embassy staff to discuss the importance of cultural exchange programs. They also talked about how these programs help build stronger academic connections between universities in Iraq and Poland.
Dr. al-Khalqani praised Cihan University-Erbil for leading cultural exchange efforts. He pointed out how these programs help students improve their academic skills and learn from the scientific and cultural experiences in countries like Poland. Mujtaba Sabah Abdul Hassan, from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, and Hajar Mohammed Ali, from the Department of Physiotherapy, thanked Dr. al-Khalqani for his warm reception. They stressed how science serves as a bridge between nations.
The students expressed their hopes for more cooperation between universities in Iraq and Poland, especially in the areas of education and research. They believe this will strengthen the cultural and scientific partnership between the two countries.
